Riverside's House Cats
House cats are not available for adoption
Martin: Our big boy, Martin, came to us in a state of distress. He had a urinary blockage and had to undergo several procedures, including surgery to make him well again. Once well, he joined the Riverside family of cats. Martin is a charming guy who likes to spend his days napping, stealing food from his Riverside sibling cats and reading the New York Times with Dr. Ledoux. He's a very sweet kitty. You may have met him upon occasion, napping in the sun on the benches in the waiting area.

Kandee: Kandee is our gorgeous persian. She's very easy going and there isn't much that ruffles her. Though we have recently given her a lion cut hair-do you may have met Kandee when she had her long hair. You will see Kandee lounging in the window sills in the front waiting area. Go ahead and pat her. She loves the attention!
Cody: Cody passed away in January 2013. She is still our little sweetheart. She was the calico with the big eyes that you always saw at the front desk. She loved people and took any opportunity she could get to interact with everyone.

Shemar: Shemar is our newest addition to the Riverside family of cats. He's a handsome black, domestic long-hair with the sweetest, most loving personality. He's very food motivated. Recently, we discovered his love for cantaloupe and honey dew melon. He'll sit up on his back legs and beg until he gets a piece.
